~ Hawaii Trip Update
Well, it's been almost 3 days in Hawaii now. We've done lots of snorkeling and lots of hiking. Yesterday, we went on a death hike. It wasn't planned, but we were destined to see a certain waterfall and had no idea what we were in for. After about 6 hours of strenous hiking, rock buldering, and water wading, we came home completey spent. In our Saturday morning, snorkel cruise, we saw all kinds of crazy looking fishes and 1 huge eel. The next day or so is going to be lots of relaxing by the pool/beach. I have a photo album up on facebook of some of our photos from the first few days.

Hawai'in vacation has officially begun. The trip down had it's share of ups and downs. On our trip down to Concord, we brought our cat, Neo. He decided to go #2 and throw up as well in is little crate. How nice of him. Anyways, here's hoping the rest of the trip isn't as....smelly.

see related24 Season Finale does not deliver! The final 2 hours seemed like a different show. What's usually a fast paced, action-packed show, turned into a very slow, milo-dramatic ending that didn't really say much. I've been quite dissapointed in the tv industry as of late. It seems 24 is a dying show that is now milking the public of every last cent it can get. LOST has been dead for a while and yet they decide to expand the show with an expected end date in 2010. I officially have banded LOST for next year and will not watch future episodes until they all come out on DVD. I really hope they start losing money on these shows. I haven't watched the finale of Heroes yet, but I'm hoping it ends good and that the show will be wrapping up next season. These mystery dramas can only be a season or two long. Who would read a book for 5 years, or watch a 100 hour long movie? LOST, 24, and especially Smallville have been guilty of the filler episode, which does nothing for the long-term story, but just buys more time, more advertising, etc... I just hope some producer could do it right, and if they did, I'd start watching any future show they put on tv because I know there is an end in sight. We're all going to die eventually so end the show already. Give us some closure!

see relatedWell, it's busy season for good 'ole accountants so I've been working overtime and such......Here's a lesson for all of you non-accountants: No, I am not always doing taxes. Actually I barely do any taxes. The majority of accountants don't do taxes. There's this thing called an annual report and all public companies issue it once a year. Usually, it's issued in February/March time frame, with all the work being done on it from January - March. It's very large and very complex and takes up all of our time at work. Lesson done.
Salsa Night is tonight at the church. Yah, looking like a fool!!

see relatedOh, back to work, back to work. To prove to my dad that I'm not a fool. I got my lunch packed up, my boots tied tight, I hope I don't get in a fight! Oooooh, back to work!
What would be doing at home? Probablly playing World of Warcraft. Sure, I got my character to level 60, but that's not enough is it? I have to get him as strong as I possiblly can before the expansion pack comes out. Funny note...I've heard that it will take as long to get from 60 - 70 as it took to get from 1 - 60. They're good. The addiction never ends. It builds and builds.
Anyways, I'm excited to go see my Seminoles play tomorrow. They missed me soo much that they decided to suck this year so they would get to go to the Emerald Bowl in San Francisco. How nice of them!
The NFL can be so sad. As it looks like my Jaguars will be ending their season just short of making the playoffs. It's hard thinking of what could've been. If, in just one of those close games, if something went our way.... Well, they deserved to be in the playoffs, especially more than the J E T S, Jets. How do you know that Joe, you may ask? Well, I think the fact that the Jaguars spanked the Jets 41-0 is enough evidence. It kinda stinks that last year, when we were going downhill from injuries and playing bad, we got in the playoffs to be one and done, and this year, we were going uphill and playing good football at the end, destined to make some noise in the playoffs, and we will be on the outside, looking in. 'Tis life.
At least I have my Dwight Scrute bobblehead I got for Christmas on my desk at work to cheer me up.....
